Enjoyed the stay overall but could have been made better. Check-in: quick but staff (Hesther) did not inform me which lift to specifically take. I had to approach another staff when the first lift didnt work, then the second lift was far from my room. Turns out I should use the other lobby. Surroundings: good but having people smoke outside the second lobby entrance and drop all their cigarette ash there was disgusting and unhygienic. Room: no small table to work at for a laptop or have coffee. There's a weird platform with power sockets but you'll have to stand to use it. Based on the room inconvenience alone, wouldn't return.

We have stayed at this hotel before! However never again! We arrived for check in at approximately 4.30pm and was told our room was not ready! After voicing our disappointment, staff then said ok we will upgrade you to one of our ‘Premium Rooms’ and our friends were also placed in one next to us. On the first night there was very loud bangs and also loud thumping (base) of music coming from somewhere 🤷♀️ Finally this ceased at exactly 12.00am. The second night was horrendous! The bangs were so loud and coming from above us! I tried to work out where we were positioned in the hotel and ‘bingo’ it dawned on me that we were placed under the gym! (The heavy weights being dropped on the floor or back in their saddles was the culprit! So much for having an upgrade) we rang down to the hotel and they said they would investigate, the noise stopped just after (10.30pm). Next day we went down to the ‘front desk’ and they said they would move us to another room. As we only had one more night we said we will stay where we are. Hopefully not so many using the gym tonight. We were wrong! Again at about 10pm, it started. We rang down and had to explain the whole scenario again. After about an hour it did cease. To sum ALL this up, Management of this hotel need to act on this problem! Whether they shut down our rooms under the gym (can’t really see this happening) or reduce the 24 hour gym to hours of say between 7am and 10pm and then LOCK THE DOOR! We booked through a Travel Agent and she will be informed when we return home. This really was a big disappointment with this hotel. We have frequently been to a lot of ParkRoyal Hotels and now we go somewhere other than these. On a brighter side we would like to mention Matthew in reception who helped us out on arrival. This young man went above and beyond. Thankyou Matthew.

This is our 2nd time here,but this is a 1st time after the revamp, love the new look very greenery feel very relax . We were here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Was so surprised once I inter the room so beautiful deco with roses on the bed wishing our Anniversary with cake and card . Really happy & feel appreciate. Thank you from the bottom of our heart. And we also love the Breakfast so fulfilling and delicious. Really enjoyed our stay here location is also the best. I will definitely return back . And already spread and share my beautiful time staying at ParkRoyal Collection with my family & friends. Thank you again

Great hotel, near to city transport. Room was lovely. Enjoyed the pool especially after being on a walking tour of the city.
